Countertops
Refinishing countertops and vanities is a very cost effective alternative to
replacement. Replacing countertops could cost 3-4 times more than
resurfacing them. Countertop finishes are durable and unlike a new
countertop, the surface can be touched up if it is damaged.
Why should I resurface my kitchen
countertops?
The main reason most customers resurface their countertops is to exchange the
countertop’s old look to a modern look. Most kitchen countertops
are in good shape, but have an outdated color. Even if the
countertop has scratches or pot burns, the countertop can be repaired and reglazed.
What colors are available?
We have two finish styles to choose from. Our first finish style is a single color; the second finish style is a
multi-color finish. We offer a wide variety of colors to update the
look of your kitchen countertops.
The multi-color finish for countertops has the look of granite. Once the multi-color finish is applied, a clear coat is applied over the top
of the multi-color. The clear coat can be high gloss or satin; both
are durable and easy to maintain.
Advantages of our product over other
companies:
Retains color and luster (unlike epoxy, it will yellow)
Won’t crack or chip if you drop a shampoo bottle
Resists scratches and abrasion
How long does the process take?
The average kitchen countertops can usually be completed in less than a day and
cannot be used for 24 hours after the job is complete. Multi-color
countertops require a second trip to apply the clear coat finish over the countertops.
How much does it cost?
The average cost to resurface a kitchen countertop is $300.00-$1100.00,
depending on the size and color.
How do I care for my newly finished kitchen
countertops?
You should never use abrasive cleaners on the countertops like Ajax or Comet,
even Soft Scrub has some mild abrasives in it. The new finish will
be non-porous and the dirt and grime will wipe away much easier.
Is the new finish guaranteed?
Tubs and More offer a warranty on our refinishing services that protect against
