When A Company Cares

Chuck Berdar and his wife, Simmy, are a beautiful couple living in Middle Georgia who have been greatly impacted by our services. Their desire to have a mold-free and modern bathroom sent Simmy on a hunt for the perfect contractors while her husband (a retired Navy veteran and cancer-survivor) was out of town.

She felt like she struck gold when discovering Tubs and More in September of 2017, and that initial encounter opened the door for us to serve their family in other ways!

T&M: What drew you to Tubs and More?

SB: I interviewed people, and I wanted our bathroom changed around completely, but people were saying, “You can’t do that.” Dahl and Charles came and told me that it was possible. I interviewed four or five other companies before I found them.

How would you describe your experience with Tubs and More if you were only allowed to use four words?

CB: Reliable and dependable.

SB: Responsive, caring, and personable.

That’s five words, but we’ll definitely let that slide [laughing].

CB & SB: [laughing]

SB: They didn’t want us to like the bathroom. They wanted us to love the bathroom. When a company cares that much, it really matters to us.

Would you recommend our services to friends and family?

SB: Already have [smiling]. People ask all the time because we were the talk of the neighborhood, but now I show them the before and after pictures. We felt safe with Dahl and Charles here, and that means everything.

That’s awesome! Do you have any additional words for our readers?

SB: I interviewed so many people who looked good on the surface, but they weren’t reliable. This company is super reliable.

CB: We dealt with people in the past who we had to call for days and weeks at a time to get a response, but, on the other hand, Charles always called us right back.

SB: He’s never ignored us, and Dahl gave us a thank you card when the job was complete because he knew how much we’d been let down by other companies. I appreciate that so much and can’t say enough good things about Tubs and More.

13 Years Later

August 23, 2006. For many, that date carries minuscule meaning, if any. For us at Tubs and More, it marks the day that we came to serve a family whose bathroom was in dire need of restoration.

It was a cloudy Wednesday when our founder, Dahl Moss, rode to this family’s home in a small burgundy pickup truck. He was prepared for the task at hand, but he was unaware that one refinished tub could lead to a life-changing connection.

As a result, we are here 13 years later to sit down and talk with one of our very first customers and a proud Air Force Veteran: Mr. Ira Paul. Here is a sneak peek of the awesome dialogue we shared.

T&M: What is one thing that you believe Tubs and More does well?

IP: They were meticulous. With the other guys, I had a lot of oversprays and everything else, but they [Tubs and More] were meticulous and got here on time.

If you could describe Tubs and More with one word, which word would you use?

Professional.

And why is that?

Well, they did what they said they would do, and they did it right. The customer service was excellent, and I was pleased with it.

That’s awesome! We fixed your bathtub over a decade ago. Have you had any more trouble since then?

No. Not at all [laughing]. Dahl came out to fix the tub, and I’m really happy with it.

The Joys of Serving A Servant

Are you interested in learning more about our bathroom remodeling? If so, look at what Ms. Monica Lowe had to say about her experience with Tubs and More.

She is a retired teacher from the Houston County school system that spent several decades helping our community. Knowing her history of service made it an even greater honor to serve her!

T&M: What services did Tubs and More complete for you?

ML: Tubs and More renovated the entire bathroom. They replaced the tub, toilet, light, mirror, and towel rack. They even painted and put new tiles on the floor.

If you could summarize the job that we did for you in one word, what would it be?

I would say, “awesome.” I appreciate the fact that Charles is a very meticulous person who cleans up behind himself. He didn’t scratch up my furniture or dent my walls. I was impressed with that. He worked hard: like an energizer bunny.

How would you describe the customer service that you received?

Excellent. I really enjoyed Charles; he wasn’t talkative, but he was personable. I like the way he works; he reminds me of me.

How did our job impact you?

It gave me freedom from being concerned about having an aged bathroom because now I have a nice, modern bathroom.
